- His complete name is Nicholas Caradoc Hoult. Caradoc stands for ‘The Beloved One’ in Welsh. His father was a commercial airline pilot while his mother was a Piano instructor. Nicholas also has an elder brother and two sisters.
- Nicholas Hoult was born in Wokingham, Berkshire, England and even completed his studies there. While he was growing up, he would accompany his brother and sisters to their acting and dance classes regularly. This had a strong impact on young Nicholas Hoult’s mind and he was determined that he too would one day become an actor.
- When Nicholas was just 3, he accompanied his elder brother to a play where his brother was one of the actors. Seeing a 3-year-old so lost in watching the play, its director offered a small role for young Nicholas in his next production named “The Caucasian Chalk Circle.”
- Since then Nicholas has appeared in multiple TV shows, commercials and even theatre plays. At the age of just 7, Nicholas Hoult auditioned for a role in the movie named Intimate Relations and was even selected thus making it his debut feature film!

Unfortunately, the bus did not stop on time and actually collided with Nicholas Hoult. He sustained severe injuries as his leg got completely smashed against the glass window of the bus. Exactly the same thing had happened to him while filming his previous TV series Skins too!
